Arneson Auction Service is a ranch-country auction company based near Elm Springs, South Dakota. We specialize in auctions for large ranch land, working livestock operations, agricultural property, and recreational hunting land across Western South Dakota. Our approach is grounded in honesty, clear communication, and a deep respect for the families and landowners we work with.
Experience You Can Trust
Founder and auctioneer Lonnie Arneson has been in the auction industry for over 20 years. He graduated from the Western College of Auctioneering in Billings, Montana in 1985, and later obtained his real estate license in 2003. Lonnie has extensive experience conducting ranch, land, estate, and personal property auctions.
Lonnie is a licensed real estate auctioneer.
Rooted in Ranch Country
Our service area is home to working cattle ranches, horse operations, and wide-open grazing country. Many of the properties we sell also offer strong deer and antelope hunting habitat, with additional opportunities for upland game and waterfowl. We understand what gives Western South Dakota land its value — grass, water, access, and stewardship.
